This is an introductory class to jewelry making. Learn the vocabulary of hardware and how to select the right materials for your project.
Students will learn how to craft charms for jewelry by using a variety of techniques such as slip trailing, sprig molds, and more. We'll also go over the best way to glaze your jewelry using bead racks and high temp wire to allow you to glaze your items entirely (Or how to skip glazing altogether).
We will provide a 25 lb bag of ^5-6 clay for the class.
We classify this as a "Level 2 Class", meaning that everyone enrolled should either have completed our Beginner Wheel Class, Beginner Hand-Building Class, or something similar at another studio/school.
