Hi All!

I am now officially residing in my artist studio at 2527 Gilbert Ave. and looking forward to heating up my own kiln - come cooler weather.

My ceramic life began as a wheel thrower about 10 years ago - way hard to believe - but my real joy came with taking a handbuilding class 3 years later.  I tend to work in a series of realistic functional and non-functonal forms - particularly in creating fashion statements - to achieve my goal I use a variety of clays and finishing techniques - most of all I prefer working with porcelain because of the buttery feel and the handsome whites that it gives when fired.

Keeping the feel of clay in my hands has let me return to a childlike happiness from days that I would design then sew or cut paper clothes for my dolls and cutouts
